One continuous line draws itself out from the center of the frame and returns there. The image then begins to travel inward through copies of itself, printed in four colors with the bleed and dot structure of halftone. The seventh-century Korean monk Uisang arranged the essentials of Hwaeom doctrine into a diagram of 210 characters that starts and finishes at the same point: a single path containing everything, with no privileged place to enter it.
